Affliction ends promotion, reunites with UFC

Affliction was unable to find a suitable replacement for Josh Barnett on short notice and canceled their August 1 show. The show’s cancellation and low pay-per-view figures generated by its previous two shows, proved too much for Affliction to swallow.

As a result, the respected clothing manufacturer has decided to no longer promote fight cards and will reunite with Ultimate Fighting Championship.
